Lisa Reed

I have had the pleasure of managing the team for over ten years. I believe we have an amazing group of professional practitioners with a depth of knowledge necessary to support and guide clients on their health journey.
​With over  20 years experience, I have seen the importance of treating every client as an individual with their own health goals and what can be achieved working holistically together. Trained in both the naturopathic and scientific fields, I have an interest in the microbiome and bringing the body back into balance using researched based practitioner products alongside herbs, probiotics, bach and homeobotanical remedies. Animal healthcare is another area of interest, and happy to suggest remedies to enhance your pets wellbeing. 
Bookings available for clinical consultations, reflexology sessions, cell wellbeing nutritional testing, and iridology, or pop in for a quick chat on the shop floor.

Lisa Pomare 

My interest for nutrition and natural health was handed down from my mother who was trying to convince us to eat "real food" from a very young age.
After 20 years running my retail businesses I followed my heart and decided to completely change direction and study to become a Naturopath and Medical herbalist.
I feel very fortunate to be able to work at Johns during my studies assisting people with improving their families health.
​I am interested in all areas of healing the body and mind but especially enjoy working with women going through perimenopause and menopause, finding solutions for sleep issues and anxiety, teens health and well being and anything skin.
​I am a trained Dr. Haushka skincare and makeup consultant (as I believe this is one of the best organic skincare ranges I have used in 30 years!).

Beverley

Beverley is a qualified Naturopath with over 20 years’ experience working in natural health, both with retail and clinic work. Beverley has been working with us at the Herbal Dispensary for 5 years and is available early in the week to discuss simple health problems over the counter.  
Beverley uses a Theratest machine during client consultations.  This takes a reading from the meridian endpoints on fingers and toes and gives an overall picture of how well each organ of the body is functioning.  The client receives a copy of their chart along with a treatment plan.  Treatment may include vitamins/minerals, herbs, detox or diet, and lifestyle suggestions.  
Beverley is also a Bodytalk practitioner. Bodytalk is a totally safe and non-invasive system which assists the body to heal itself on all levels, physical, emotional, psychological, and energic. Bodytalk re-establishes communication between different parts of the body, and is suitable for all ages and conditions.  
Consultations take around an hour. A discount is given for super gold or community service cardholders.

Rochelle 

Rochelle is a degree-qualified naturopath and medical herbalist. Her career move to natural health began after attending and volunteering in a health retreat in Australia, as her interest had grown in this area after working in a corporate job in London for several years. Her time at the retreat inspired her to follow the path of becoming a naturopathic practitioner.
Rochelle's particular area of interest is working with those who are struggling with high levels of stress, burnout and sleep deprivation. This can manifest in many different ways and Rochelle enjoys helping her clients to unpack the puzzle. She also has experience working with autoimmune disorders, thyroid and hormone imbalances and gut dysfunction.
Rochelle sees clients in clinic early in the week and is in-store in the later half of the week.

Chelsea

Chelsea is a degree-qualified naturopath, herbalist & nutritionist with a special interest in preconception, pregnancy and postpartum care. She is currently studying to become a birth and postpartum doula which will allow her to amalgamate herbalism with more one-on-one birth and postpartum support.
​Chelsea also works with clients on finding hormonal balance, regulating cortisol levels and she helps people tap into their version of wellness, however that may look for the individual.
She has experience supporting people with conditions such as endometriosis, adenomyosis and PCOS. Chelsea utilises herbal medicine as well as Bach flowers in her remedies, as well as pulling together the other pillars of naturopathy; lifestyle changes and nutritional support, to offer her clients true holistic care. You can find Chelsea in the herbal dispensary Tuesday – Saturday, offering her knowledge and guidance to customers.

Pamela

​Pam is a registered Naturopath who has a holistic approach to health.  Since everyone is unique, when you visit Pam she will take a comprehensive health review which helps determine any underlying causes of your condition and work towards a healthier future.
Pam is committed to natural health and enjoys educating and supporting clients so they feel enabled to develop their health goals.  There is a varied health condition she treats but has a special interest in

  • Chronic & autoimmune issues
  • Children
  • Microbiome health
After the consultation Pam will provide a personalised easy to follow plan suitable to the individual needs.  To improve wellbeing the following maybe recommended nutrition, targeted supplementation, Bach flower remedies, Cell salts, Herbal tincture, Homeobotanical remedies, lifestyle modifications.  To stay updated with natural medicine Pam regularly attends professional seminars.
